This online course is PART 1 (THEORY ONLY). You will still need to complete PART 2 (PRACTICAL/ONSITE) in a licensed salon, under a Licensed Cosmetologist as an Apprentice. The State of Virginia requires a total of 1,500 hours to apply for licensing testing - the Cosmetology state exam. The State of Virginia requires a total of 3,000 hours to apply for licensing testing - under the Cosmetology Apprenticeship Program. Due to COVID-19, we are only offering "Part 1: Theory" courses until further notice. We will offer "in-person" courses as soon as there is more clarity and guidance about the global pandemic that we are all facing.
